Did you know you can visit far-off places and learn about cool jobs you never knew existed without even leaving your classroom? You can, thanks to the Virtual Field Trips made possible by AgExplorer and Discovery Education.

In November 2017, students in classrooms around the country watched live as global animal health company Zoetis opened the doors at its headquarters in New Jersey for a Virtual Field Trip. Participants got a behind-the-scenes look at how Zoetis employees in STEM careers research, develop and manufacture medicines, vaccines and devices to improve animal health around the world. Students were even able to submit questions in advance for a chance to have them answered during the live broadcast.

Find out about upcoming Virtual Field Trips and watch past ones on-demand on AgExplorer. It is free to participate and an educator guide containing classroom activities is offered for each trip. No special equipment is needed – just an internet-connected computer and a way to share it with your class, such as a projector and speakers.
